A man has been charged with murder after another man’s leg was allegedly removed in an “arrangement” with a circular saw.
After police discovered the gruesome sight in a Far North Queensland park over the weekend, John Yalu, 36, appeared in Innisfail Magistrates Court on Monday.
Mr. Yalu of Innisfail is scheduled to appear in court on June 6.
Mr. Yalu and the second man, 66, allegedly made an “agreement” for the amputation of the leg, according to police.
The 66-year-leg old’s was allegedly sawn off below the knee after the pair drove to Fitzgerald Park at 3.48 a.m. on Saturday.
Later, the older man died on the spot.
