John Stones Height, Weight, Net Worth, Girlfriend, Biography, Other Facts

John Stones denies all the commonly used clichés when trying to describe the skills of an average England defender; strong, snapping and bullish. This can be seen as pejorative or complementary depending on which side of the aisle you are on.

The main assumption is that finesse and elegance is not necessarily their forte. Manchester City’s John Stones, however, is not your average English centre. Sleek in possession, calm on the ball and blessed with passing range, Franz Beckenbauer will be proud.

John Stones Bio

John Stones is an English center who plays for English Premier League Manchester City. Born on May 28, 1994 to Peter and Janet Stones, John began his football studies at Barnsley FC, his native village.

Before joining Barnsley, John attended Penistone Grammar school where he first became interested in golf. Over time, however, his interest turned decidedly towards football. A quiet and reserved child, John found it difficult to adapt to his various age groups academically due to his short stature. At 15, he was asked to train with the lower age category so he could meet the physical demands of the game.

By the time he turned 18 and his body size had grown proportionately to 6ft 2in, his footballing skills were miles away from his younger teammates.

He signed his first professional contract with Barnsley in December 2011 and made his first-team debut on the 17th of March 2012. After a string of impressive performances and scouting endorsements, Stones signed for Everton for around £3million  sterling in January 2013.

Under Everton boss Roberto Martinez, Stones flourished, earning nationwide plaudits for his mature performances. He made his club debut against Stevenage in the League Cup on 28 August 2013.

In four seasons, Stones made 95 goal-scoring appearances. As his stock grew, Everton were forced to present their young star with a higher quality offer, in order to tie him back to the club. On August 7, 2014, Stones signed a contract extension with an improved weekly salary of £30,000.

After fending off interest from Chelsea, on 9 th August 2016 Manchester City signed Stones for £47.5million on a six-year deal. This figure means that Stones has become the second most expensive defender in history, behind Brazilian defender David Luiz.

Stones’ arrival at the Etihad Stadium coincided with the arrival of Spaniard Pep Guardiola, renowned for his admiration for elegant ball-playing defenders. The Stones played their first City game on the 6th of January 2017, against London club West Ham United.

After a dazzling start to Manchester City, the career slowed down somewhat for the young Englishman. Subjected to error and a lack of focus, Stones found a hard-to-find starting point. His recent injuries and City’s acquisition of Europe’s top talent have all played a significant role in his recent struggles at club level.

On the international front, Stones made his first senior appearance for England in May 2014 after being appointed to Leighton Baines in a 3-0 friendly win over Peru at Wembley in 2014. His first competitive start for the three lions took place in the first qualifying game for UEFA Euro 2016 against Switzerland.

He has since been named in squads for every major tournament since.

Who is Hello s Girlfriend?

John Stones has been dating Millie Savage since she was 12. Drama ensues when Stones sees Jessica Peaty behind Millie’s back.

John met Jessica – Event Manager in and after hanging out, the two retired to a hotel in Manchester for the night. The friendship lasted for a few weeks, just as Stones was settling into his new club, Manchester City. Initially, Jessica never knew her status as a footballer. She was then surprised to see photos of Johns on the back pages of a tabloid after a championship game. After checking his background, she realized that Stones had a girlfriend he had been with since childhood.

A devastated Jessica sent an Instagram message to Millie asking if John was still dating her during the time of their fling. Predictably, a fiasco ensued and made headlines. John had the unenviable task of returning to Millie to mend the relationship and break the trust.

Fortunately, he was forgiven, but not without cost. The millionaire footballer should have first appeased him by buying a mansion worth £3.5m. He had to go so far as to have his face tattooed on his arm.

John Stones stands at 1 hour.88 meters, with a weight of 70 kg. That’s a pretty impressive height for a 6-foot-2 defender. His 154 kg weight equivalent adds a lot of strength and resistance when he charges towards or keeps guard against the opposing team’s players who are spinning to pass him. His other body measurements, such as his chest, arms/biceps and height, were not disclosed, but based on a visual assessment from downtown, he has an athletic build.
