Spearing remained one of the industry’s most renowned and well-known trainers despite sustaining life-threatening injuries in a gallops accident five years ago.
Peter Scudamore, one of Spearing’s close friends, paid tribute to the late trainer, praising him as a wonderful trainer who was adept in feeding and caring for horses. Scudamore also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to ride Run and Skip, despite the horse’s difficult training.
