John Nitzinger (pronounced “Nit-Zinger”) is a guitarist and composer from Fort Worth, Texas. In the early 1970s, Nitzinger collaborated with the Fort Worth band Bloodrock on the writing of music for five of their albums. [1] As a result of the success of Bloodrock 2, Nitzinger got a recording deal with Capitol Records, and his first album Nitzinger, which was released in early 1972, was a commercial success. One Foot in History, his second studio album for Capitol Records, was released in 1973. The album Live Better Electrically, released by 20th Century Records in 1976, was a hit with the public. As a member of PM, Nitzinger collaborated with Carl Palmer (previously of Emerson, Lake & Palmer) and other musicians to produce a single album, One P.M, on the Ariola Records label in 1980. [2] In 1981, he toured with Alice Cooper as part of the Special Forces tour, and he also appears on the Special Forces album. 

Cooper’s Zipper Catches Skin record was written in part by him. After being forced off the road, he was able to make a return after overcoming health problems, and now he travels throughout the country delivering his message of healthy lifestyle choices to hospitals, schools, and jails. A collection of his best hits, Fingers In The Fan, as well as the album Didja Miss Me, have been published since then. JTH Productions, his own label, published the album Kiss Of The Mudman in 2006, which was produced entirely by him. 

The record was picked up by SPV Records in Europe in 2010 and released globally the following year. Bloodrock 2013 with Bloodrock lead vocalist Jim Rutledge and Revenge with former AC/DC lead singer Dave Evans were the two new albums he created in 2012, both of which were released in the United Kingdom. At the moment, he is scheduling concerts and developing new projects, as well as continuing to teach music lessons, seminars, and Rock Camps on the East Side of Fort Worth, Texas, USA.
