John Krasinski Wiki
John Krasinski’s acting career began when he played Daddy Warbucks in a sixth-grade performance of Annie. Later, during their senior year of high school, he and B. J. Novak, who would later play him on The Office, co-starred in a satirical play.
They both graduated from Newton South High School in 1997. Krasinski spent six months in Costa Rica teaching English to those who spoke various languages while also saving a woman from drowning in the sea before starting college.
In order to pursue playwriting and English at Brown University after his stint in Costa Rica, Krasinski enrolled there. He coached young basketball players at the Gordon School in East Providence, Rhode Island, and was a member of the sketch comedy group Out of Bounds while he was an undergraduate at Brown.
After completing an honors thesis titled “Contents Under Pressure,” Krasinski earned his degree from Brown University in 2001. He continued his education by registering for courses at the National Theater Institute in Waterford, Connecticut, as well as the Actors Center in New York.
For his role as Jim Halpert in the NBC comedy The Office, Krasinski is best known. He also contributed as a producer and sometimes director during the course of the show’s nine seasons.
