Rick Petko net worth: Rick Petko is a motorbike enthusiast and reality TV star who has a net worth of $3 million. Rick Petko gained fame and a large chunk of his fortune when he became part of the reality TV show American Chopper. He worked as a fabricator (skilled craftsman) for motorcycle maker Orange Country Choppers (better known as OCC) for two years. The OCC is renowned and praised worldwide for their custom motorcycles. Their work ultimately led to a reality TV show on the Discovery Channel (later aired on TLC). When the show was first aired in March 2003, it was evident that Petko was the one of hardest working guys in the show. He appeared on some form of the show from 2003 to 2012. Petko’s passion began at an early age when he started riding mini bikes. He then progressed to go karts, three wheelers, four wheelers, dirt bikes and Harleys – every bikers’ ultimate dream.  Petko, a NASCAR fan, worked at Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania for five years. He also worked for the Hooters Pro Cup team. Petko eventually moved away from racing and joined the team at OCC owned by Paul Teutul, Sr. As a member of the OCC team, Petko was involved in one of their most memorable projects, the POW/MIA Bike.  It was rumored that Petko Left the OCC in September 2011 and now has his own bike shop in Stroudsburg, P.A. where he’s customizing old bikes. However, various forums suggest otherwise. Petko said on one of the forums:  ‘I haven’t left the OCC-just need to work on my own stuff also. There were also speculations that Petko has now joined, Paul Jr. Design, working for fellow Chopper Paul Teutul, Jr. Petko was a regular on the American Chopper’s spin off, American Chopper: Senior vs Junior, which was first aired on TLC and later the Discovery Channel. Launched in 2010, the show reveals the bitter rivalry between OCC and Paul Junior Designs. He appeared in a 2014 Discovery special American Chopper: Shaq Bike. Marriage and Current Work: Rick Petko married Brittany Cockeram in 2012. Their wedding was featured on American Chopper. They welcomed a daughter in October 2013. He continued to commute 70 miles to work every day at OCC until 2016. He also runs his own customization and restoration business. Today he runs a metalwork business called RPD & Co that creates custom knives, wedding bands, furniture and other products. He runs the business from his farm in the Pocono Mountains region of Pennsylvania.
