Jimi Partington Accident Update: What Happened To Shark Expert?

The shark diving expert Jimi Partington is fine despite encountering the great white shard twice.

Although facing the great shark is probably a deadly encounter for most people, Partington dived the sea with enough preparations to plan his escape route and safely returned to the boat even though the sea monster broke his shield.

Jimi didn’t even have a scratch on his body during the first encounter, while the story of his second encounter is a mystery to be seen in the program episode. But observing his present situation, the man looks in good shape and a good health situation.

So, it is clear that the diver is good and didn’t suffer any fatal blow from the encounter.

Jimi Partington faced the Great White Shark twice and escaped a narrow encounter when the 16-foot white broke his cage in the sea.

The incident dates back to 2020 when the man was in the sea, sighting some sharks. Amid the dive, a great white appeared before him, and it was not in a great mood, judging from its actions. It attacked the cage inside which Jimi was staying.

As the giant sea creature hit the shield, it broke. As a result, Jimi had to escape the water and climb back into the boat quickly. As Kurr revealed, the diver succeeded in doing that without a scratch on his body.

However, Partington was not satisfied with the first encounter and went into the water for the second time to observe the dangerous shark. He successfully escaped the second meeting as well.

Jimi Partington is now in the United States, back to his regular shark diving work after finishing the Shark Week special.

He has worked with Kurr since 2020 on this unique Shark Week project and has been busy with the production work. He worked closely with the Discovery team and pursued his usual shark diving passion.

Now, after completing the episode, Jimi is back to his regular work of sea diving. You can track his work on his Instagram account under the handle @jimipartingtonsdx.
