Jim Whittington also referred to as Reverend Jim Whittington is an American televangelist ordained minister, preacher missionary and faith healer. Whittington has been in the ministry for 51 years. His father, Rev. A.B. Whittington, pastored and ministered in the Pentecostal denomination for more than 50 years.

Jim Whittington   Ministry

The ministry of Whittington is now focused on Jamaica and the Caribbean. In December 2011, his organization, World Deliverance International, gave the children and needy families three containers of chicken. There were 160,000 chicken cans spread all over the island. Another food shipment was delivered to Jamaica Island on June 12, 2012, with 270,000 meals on it. Fifty thousand of these meals are designated as Maxfield Children’s Home, the oldest and largest orphanage on the island in Kingston, Jamaica. Rev. Whittington has been active in bringing textbooks worth US$ 1,000,000 in the past. Penwood High School and two other schools in Kingston received these textbooks

He is married to his lovely wife, Susan. Jim is the father of six children, five daughters, and one son. He has eight grandchildren and one more on the way. He also has four great-granddaughters. Three of them live in Texas with their father, who is a Major in the US Army and has served on two deployments to Iraq, and their mother. The fourth one lives in North Carolina with her father and mother.
