Jibbywest is a talented stylist, fashionpreneur, costume designer and blogger. She is the COO of Indigo Boutique, a fashion powerhouse and one of the oldest boutiques in Lagos, Nigeria. Indigo Boutique has styled a lot of popular people including Funke Akindele, Oge Okoye, Yemi Alade, Uriel Music, Sylvia Nduka, Moët, Mercy Aigbe, Chioma Akpotha, to name a few. As a stylist, she has worked on various projects with several multinational companies, SME’s and individuals. Some of these brands include Masha Mombelli, Belle Sauvage, Guinness, Soundcity, Music Meets Runway, Elizabeth Waldorf, Emma Nyra, Niyola, Omowunmi Akinnnifesi, LSF, Jane Michael, Lumination Global Network. She worked alongside Masha Mombelli during London Fashion Week 2010 with other talented stylists, makeup artists, photographers and designers. She also interned with Toju Peters where she was the costume designer for the movie Sapio. She hosted and styled two randomly selected people for the show Bargain Hunters on Soundcitytv. During the Elizabeth Waldorf City Woman’s show for City People Magazine, she styled the host Toke Makinwa and was the main stylist for the show. She styled Omowunmi Akinnifesi for the cover and article in Vanguard Allure magazine. She styled the model in DJ ECool’s video featuring Davido “For You” which was shot at Indigo Boutique.
Aside from her academic and professional work, she has a passion for community development. She is a cofounder of a non-profit charity God’s Plan where she gives back through several initiatives. She also works with Inter-Bau Foundation, another non-profit organization. She loves working with these foundations to help her community and teach (especially children), using her gifts to assist others in need.
