Jessie James Decker was born Jessica Rose James. She began singing at the tender age of two when, at age nine, she won her first talent contest in Baker, Louisiana, with the song I Wanna Be a Cowboy Sweetheart . Jessie spent her childhood in differentcities due to her father’s military profession. Before Jessie turned 15, she had attended a number of auditions but was turned down by most of the record labels in her Nashville, Tennessee neighborhood.
Jessie met up with Big Yellow Music’s Carla Wallace, who helped her recognize her flaws and work on them to increase her chances of fame. Then a song of hers caught the attention of Mercury Records, which landed her a recording contract under which she released her self-titled debut album Jessie James in August 2009. The album was met with mixed reactions but debuted at number 23 on the Billboard 200.
Her second album Sweet American Dreams dropped a year after the first album in 2010. However, none of her singles made it onto the Billboard charts. When it was obvious that Jessie needed a change in her music genre, she was introduced to the country music genre after lengthy negotiations. The singer began recording songs in April 2011 and had singles such as If you say my name and Soldier released on January 31, 2012 and May 22, 2012, respectively.
Jessica James Decker released her extended play (EP) Comin’ Home on April 18, 2014. The EP became a hit and topped the iTunes Top Albums chart at number one. It later charted on Billboard’s Top 5 Top Country Albums list.

He is best known for his eight-year NFL career with corporations such as the Denver Broncos, New York Jets, Tennessee Titan and the New England Patriots, where he retired in 2018.
