MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) Mobile police arrested Jason Cooley, 42, early Tuesday morning, charging him with the murder of his girlfriend, Selwondra Pugh, 42.Pugh was shot three times in her stomach at a home in the 400 block of Magnolia Road around 9 p.m. on Monday. She was rushed to the hospital where she died.
Cooley was booked into Mobile Metro Jail shortly after 3 a.m. Minutes earlier, Cooley mumbled “no excuses” when asked by a news reporter about the crime.Friends knew Selwondra Pugh as Shay. She leaves behind three daughters.Watch News 5 This Morning for live updates throughout the morning.
