Jessica Rothe (Birth name: Jessica Rothenberg) is an American actress known for her roles in the 2016 MTV television series Mary + Jane, La La Land and the 2017 slasher film Happy Death Day as well as its sequel.

Rothe is a graduate of Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts that she earned in 2009. At the age of 8, Rothe was already taking ballet dance classes and while in university, she learned how to tap dance, play the violin and do pottery. As a young girl, she used to attend summer theater camps in Kansas City.

Jessica Rothe Returns For More Trouble In ‘Happy Death Day 2U’ Trailer

Get ready to head back to Tree Gelbman’s death day.

In the brand-new trailer for “Happy Death Day 2U”, Jessica Rothe returns to the role of Gelbman for the hit film’s sequel.

Last time we say the sorority sweetheart, she was stuck reliving the day of her murder, and this time she’ll face even greater dangers.

In the upcoming flick, she’ll have to stop her own murder (again), while saving her friends’ lives as well.

Israel Broussard will also return for the sequel, as will director Christopher Landon.

“Happy Death Day 2U” hits theatres on Feb. 14.
