Jessica and her parents are from Mexico and they are of Mexican ethnicity. Her parents, whose identities are unknown moved to the States for her older sister, who needed urgent medical care that was only available in the United States. 

After moving to the States, her father started his own food trucking company to meet the needs of his two daughters, and her mother took care of Jessica and her older sister.

She was born on May 24, 1993, in Laredo, Texas. Her father and mother gave birth to her when they moved to Texas, United States.

At the age of twenty-two, Jessica earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas, and at the age of twenty-five, she completed her master’s from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law.

After completing her studies, Cisneros has professionally worked as an attorney, an immigrant rights advocate, and a clerk.

Now at the age of twenty-eight, Cisneros as an attorney, she is running for Congress to represent the hardworking community of south Texas.
