Back on November 28, 2022, Jay got in trouble with the law after he was arrested for drinking alcohol while in the passenger seat of a motor vehicle. The news of her pregnancy has come as a surprise as the musician is already 48 years old.
Da Brat mentioned that she never intended to have kids until she met her partner Jessica. However, the late pregnancy hasn’t come without complications.
The couple was initially divided on who should carry the baby. However, after Jesseca suffered complications after retrieving her eggs, her partner became ready to carry the baby.
Meanwhile, Da Brat also went through some health issues on the road to becoming pregnant. The musician had to surgically remove polyps and fibroids before transferring the embryo. Likewise, she suffered a terrible miscarriage.
