Jesse Duplantis: Early Life, Family, and Education
Duplantis was born on July 9, 1949 along with his 9 siblings. From the beginning, Duplantis did not like faith or preaching. His interests were different from what we call religion or creed. Art was Jesse’s first true love. He used to be a professional guitar player and was part of a band called Summer Wine. If it weren’t for the preaching, Duplantis might have become a popular heavy metal guitarist. Unfortunately, none of his upbringing is documented.
Duplantis delivered his first sermon in 1976. He began work as an evangelist minister two years later. Jesse presented an award winning combination of humorous approach mixed with music and comedic flair. Duplantis was rapidly beginning to gain popularity and fame. Since he associated with his wife Cathy in 1997, he finally allowed her to join Covenant Church. JDM started shipping through their offices, with locations in different parts of the world where we are still in the home state.
