Jerry Demings is an American politician and former law enforcement officer. He currently serves as the Mayor of Orange County, Florida since 2018. From 2009 to 2018, he previously served as the Sheriff of Orange County, Florida. He later served as Chief of the Orlando Police Department and Director of Public Safety for Orange County, Florida.
Additionally, many people recognize him as the husband of United States Representative from Florida’s 10th congressional district, Val Demings.
