Jermain Jackman is a British singer who is famous for winning the third season of The Voice UK in 2014. This series is a BBC television singing competition with the main aim of turning young people who are in stars through singing. After he won the competition, Jermain made is debut album that was released on March 23, 2015. He was born into an Afro-Guyanese family from Hackney with 4 older siblings and a twin sister.
He has been singing since a young age and developed a passion to pursue singing and politics while he was growing up. Jermaine studied at Islington Arts and Media School in north London where he had good grades from high school. From there he studied music at Sir George Monoux 6th Form College in Walthamstow, East of London.

Jermaine auditioned for the Voice in 2014. After, being accepted by William into his team, he eventually emerged the winner of the series of The Voice UK in April 2014. This became history in the making for The Voice To have its first male winner. Jermaine beat Christian Marie who was the favorite for every person. Aside from singing, Jermaine has stated that he would like to be the first prime minister of UK who can sing in the future.
While he was still in the Voice Competition, Jermaine appeared as a panelist on CBBC’s The Dog Ate My Homework in 2015. He, later on, appeared on the voice again to perform his new single How Will I Know during the first live show.
