One of Hollywood’s leading ladies, Jennifer Lopez is a singer and actress who has forged a successful pop and dance music career.
Jennifer was born on July 24, 1969, in the Bronx, New York. She danced on the TV show In Living Color before starring in the film Selena. She eventually turned to music where she was great in pop and dance charts with her hits like “Play” and “Get Right.” She had twins after her marriage with salsa icon Marc Anthony in 2006. However, the couple split after a few years. As of the moment, her projects are Shades of Blue and American Idol.
Aside from working on American Idol, Lopez still has her music. Last June 2014, she released the album A.K.A. Lopez worked with Claudia Leitte and Pitbull for the song “We Are One” for the World Cup. She went on with Ryan Guzman to work on the 2015 thriller called The Boy Next Door. On the small screen, Lopez plays opposite Ray Liotta in Shades of Blue, an NBC police drama. Here, she is a corrupt cop who turns against fellow officers so she can protect her daughter and save her neck.
