Jean-Pierre Jabouille Children: Did Jean-Pierre Jabouille Have Kids?

Jean-Pierre Alain Jabouille was a French racing driver who lived from 1 October 1942 until 2 February 2023. He participated in 55 Formula One Grands Prix and claimed two victories during the first two seasons of Renault’s turbocharged program in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

Jabouille also participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans from the late 1960s to the early 1990s, driving for Alpine, Matra, Sauber, and Peugeot, and achieving four third-place overall finishes in 1973, 1974, 1992, and 1993. Jabouille was one of the last Formula One driver to double as an engineer.

François Cevert won the 1968 French Formula Three championship, with Jabouille finishing in second place. Jabouille maintained the car himself. In 1969, Alpine hired him as a research driver, and he participated in a few scattered races in Formula Two and sports cars.

He repeated this feat in 1974, winning the Formula Two race at Hockenheim and finishing second for Alpine in the European 2-liter competition.

In 1973, he co-drove a Matra to third position at the Le Mans 24 Hours. In an Iso-Marlboro and a Surtees, respectively, he made his maiden Formula One appearance while failing to qualify for the French and Austrian Grand Prix.
