Jason Calvin Garrett is a former American football player and coach and current broadcaster.

Garrett attended kindergarten through second grade at Holy Cross School in Rumson, New Jersey.

Garrett went to prep school at University School in Hunting Valley, Ohio, and was a letterman in football, basketball, and baseball.

In football, as a senior, he won All-League honors as a quarterback and safety. He graduated from University School in 1984.

Jim Garrett and his wife Jane Garrett shared 8 children; Jason Garrett, John Garrett, Judd Garrett, Jane Garrett, Jill Garrett, Jim Garrett III, Jennifer Garrett, and Janine Garrett.
