Jared McCann plays for the NHL Seattle Kraken. He is 26 years old.
While McCann’s 2.78 points per 60 minutes placed second in his career, his 1.86 goals per 60 minutes of play set a new best for him.
However, this triumph was brief since Marcus Johansson took over for Schwartz after his hand surgery in January.
After scoring his 15th goal of the year in mid-January, McCann finally passed Eberle for the team’s scoring lead.
On February 14, in a 6-2 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs, McCann finally scored his 20th goal of the year, a career-high.
On February 21, he played in his 400th NHL game and added another goal while leading the club in shots on goal, attempts, and shot quality.
