Jared Keeso sister Abigail Keeso is a registered nurse who co-founded That Clean Life. Jared and Abigail played hockey in their childhood.
Fans may remember Jared for creating and starring in the award-winning comedy series Letterkenny as Wayne/Shores. The series amassed an award for Best Comedy Series at Canadian Screen Award in 2017.
He received a Canadian Screen Award after his remarkable performance as Ben Chartier in the 2014 series 19-2. Keeso’s other notable credits include The Wrath of Grapes: The Don Cherry Story II and Keep Your Head Up Kid: The Don Cherry Story, for which he received a Gemini Award and Leo Award.
According to his IMDb bio, he made his television debut by playing the role of Nate Pratt in the drama series Smallville in 2004. The same year, he appeared as Hockey Player #2 in Life as We Know It and Bartender in Eve’s Christmas.

Jared Keeso sister Abigail Keeso is a pediatric registered nurse and culinary nutrition expert. Abigail formerly worked at The Hospital for Sick Children.
Growing up in Ontario, she studied Biological and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Guelph. She then joined Ryerson University and obtained her BScN (Hons) in Nursing (2008-2012). In 2014, she attended the Academy of Culinary Nutrition.
Abigail started her healthcare journey working as a Healthcare Contributor at BetaKit from May 2012 to March 2013. In July 2015, she joined the Academy of Culinary Nutrition and served as a Program Coach until January 2016.
Soon, she and her husband, Christopher Hopkins, founded That Clean Life, Inc, a Toronto-based business that sells software for nutrition and meal planning. They enable health professionals to deliver accessible, personalized, and practical nutrition guidance to make our world healthier.
However, she could see other women still struggling with the same problem. So, she wanted to share what she had learned throughout her journey to help others. On January 1, 2014, Abigail launched the first seven-day clean eating challenge, That Clean Life e-book.
Their Siblings And Childhood In Canada
Letterkenny star Jared is not the only child born to his parents Anne and Richard Keeso. He has a sweet sister, Abigail, an entrepreneur, and a big brother, Alan.
Alan was born on January 29, 1983, and is 39 years old. A retired hockey player, he is married to his beautiful wife, Jacqueline, and has two adorable daughters. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Technology Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2008.
In addition to his educational qualification, he studied at the University of Oxford and has two master’s degrees -a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and a Master’s Degree, MSc. in Biodiversity, Conservation, and Management.
Having served at TPH Academy for over five years as Strategic Advisor, Alan became the academy’s Chief Executive Officer of the academy on January 1, 2022. He brings extensive knowledge of TPH and its CoE (Center of Excellence) academy model, culture, and teams.
The Keeso Household
The Keeso siblings were born and raised in Listowel, Ontario, a beautiful town with around 7,500 residents. They grew up in hockey and the family sawmill (Keeso Sawmill Company), founded in 1872.
He and his siblings got hockey training from their father, Richard, and were put to work in elementary school. Alan stated he might have been seven when he bagged his first load of firewood.
The family worked in the chilling winter and also worked there through the summer. They would fill vessels with wood bound for campsites.
The siblings spent several years working in the sawmill company before embarking on their related fields. Sadly, the sawmill caught fire on September 9, 2018, and was destroyed. It was a dangerous situation; firefighters took more than 12 hours to extinguish the flames.
He then went on to focus on his acting career. Alan’s brother joined the Canadian Forces, studied at the University of Oxford, and ran for office in 2019 with the Conservative Party of Canada. Abigail went on to become a nurse and nutritionist.
