Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to
apply for a Japanese Visa.
- Original Senegal passport with at least 6 months’ validity beyond stay in Japan.

- The tourist visa is issued to a foreigner for the purpose of sightseeing, relaxation and recreational purposes in Japan.
- Holders of a tourist visa can also visit family relatives or friends in Japan.

Requirements
- The
business visa is granted to foreigners visiting Japan to attend
business meetings, negotiate and sign contracts or other business purposes. - Senegal passport must be valid for at least six months following the date of arrival to Japan.
- Passport should have at least two blank pages for Japan visa entry stamp.
- Japan application form that is signed and correctly filled by the applicant.
- The signature on the visa application form and passport copy should match.
- The Japan business visa has a validity of 90 days.
- Applicants are to provide proof of travel insurance with an equivalent of $30,000 for the duration of stay.
- Receipt showing proof that the visa application has been paid.
- Applicants are required to provide the certificate of vaccination against yellow fever.
- Letter
of invitation from the inviting company/organization stating the
address of the host company, duration, and purpose of the applicant’s visit
to Japan company. - The letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the
applicant and the type of business to be conducted in Japan. - Letter
from the applicant’s employer from the company in Senegal explaining
applicant’s job position held in Senegal, and duration of the business
leave. - Self-employed
applicants should submit a copy of business certificates and
registration. A copy of income tax return should also be submitted. - Proof of previous business transactions with the company, if available, is required.
