Janice Robinson Net Worth, Income, Salary, Earnings, Biography

Janice Robinson, born on December 8, 1967, in Garfield, New Jersey, and reared in Garfield, New Jersey, rose to international prominence as the lead vocalist of the Eurodance/Hi-NRG/Italo House combo Livin’ Joy in the early to mid-1990s before moving on to pursue a solo career in 1999. Following Robinson’s departure, Livin’ Joy went on to achieve additional successes between 1995 and 1996, this time with a different vocalist.

The greatest success, however, continues to be “Dreamer,” a massive worldwide smash that peaked at number one in the United Kingdom and reached the top ten in many other European nations. Robinson has previously collaborated with the Livin’ Joy producers on two songs, Children and Sweetest Day of May, which were both released in 2011. Don’t Stop Movin is her first solo album, and she doesn’t have any vocals on any of the tracklisted tracks until the original “Dreamer” emerges as a hidden track at the very end of the album.

Upon releasing her solo debut album The Color Within Me in 1999, she was met with overwhelmingly positive reviews for its earthy, more singer/songwriter Pop/Rock sound. The track “Nothing I Would Change” went on to become a modest pop success in the United Kingdom. Janice appeared in the episode “Animal Pragmatism” of the supernatural television series Charmed, which aired in 2000. As an opening act for Tina Turner’s U.S. leg of her global tour in 2000, she visited the United States and Canada.

Janice’s greatest success, Livin’ Joy, was re-released with new music and vocals, and she was given credit for her contributions this time around. “Dreamer ’05” became a huge success with both fans and DJs, reaching the top five of the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in only a few weeks. Her dance song “Earthbeat” is included on the Pride 1998 collection, which was mixed and produced by Julian Marsh and features other artists.
