The tragic revelation that Janey Godley and her comedian daughter Ashley Storrie may have co-written their final joke has been revealed by Storrie.
Janey, 60, disclosed that she received an ovarian cancer diagnosis in November and will soon have a surgical hysterectomy.
The Glasgow performer went for tests while on tour and had a scan that discovered a sac on her ovary. Her symptoms included stomach pains, bloating, and a loss of appetite.
The performer added that The Beatson Oncology Institute in Glasgow employees and doctors were helping to support her.
