He previously worked as a reporter at WKRN-TV (ABC) in Nashville. Prior to Nashville, Jamey was an anchor/reporter for WREG-TV (CBS) in Memphis and WHNT-TV in Huntsville.

In 2011, while a full-time reporter at WKRN, Tucker started producing the technology news segment What the Tech?. The franchise was picked up by 4 other TV stations and in May of 2015, Eric left WKRN to pursue What the Tech? full-time.
Today he produces news story every day for 8 local TV stations that air the franchise in their evening newscasts. Tucker also provides the stations with digital content, social media, and a nightly podcast. He goes more in-depth with the story of the day.

Tucker is a married man. The couple has three terrific children and Jamie loves spending every minute he can with them. He enjoys going to the movies and listening to the vinyl records that he collected since 1st grade.
He also enjoys playing volleyball and fitness training, watching college football and Major League Baseball. Sometimes Jamie thinks about how much he used to enjoy playing golf.
His love for technology reporting grew while working in Nashville. Jamey now focuses entirely on technology reporting and enjoys finding new apps to make your life easier, safer, or even a little more fun.
