Foxx’s talents began when he was still a young boy in school. At five years old, he was already playing the piano and when he became a teenager, he joined Terrell New Hope Baptist Church as a choir leader and pianist. He was also a funny student such that his teacher would tell him to tell jokes to his class when they behaved. In his high school life, he used to play football as a quarterback and basketball for his school Terrell High School and a participant in a band called Leather and Lace. Jamie later joined United States International University through a scholarship to study music and performing arts composition.
