The American actor was born on August 13, 1975, in Albany, New York, USA, to his father, Anthony J. Carpinello, and his mother, Sharon E. Kelly.
Though the actor began acting in the theater in 1999, he only became known from the VH1 sitcom So Notorious in 2006. His initial screenplay movie was a television series called Felicity, while his first movie was The Punisher.
James’s first Broadway show was the musical Saturday Night Fever. Later he was portrayed in another musical called Xanadu, which played at Helen Hayes Theatre. The 47-year actor also played in the Broadway musical Rock of Ages.

She studied and had a deep interest in ballet and modern dance from a young age and continued her passion for 14 years. But when the dreamer had to go through knee surgery in high school, she had to stop her dancing career.
Later, the actress completed her high school graduation from Lake Highlands High School in Dallas and achieved a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University in the theater.
Initially, she worked as a stage actress in different plays and also had an opportunity to play in American Players Theatre in Wisconsin. Later she moved to the screenplay, making her debut as Winifred “Fred” Burkle and Illyria as a main character in the series Angel. She was awarded the 2003 Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television for her role.
The actress continued to work in series such as Kelly Peyton in Alias, Root in Person of Interest, Caitlin Strucker in The Gifted, Dr. Claire Saunders/Whiskey in Dollhouse, and many more.
The actress is also close friends with Neil Patrick Harris, and the two played former lovers on the How I Met Your Mother episode, How I Met Your Mother: Come On (2006). She is also behind the voice of The Huntress for the Cartoon Network’s Justice League and Justice League Unlimited: Double Date

James And Amy Have A Beautiful Family
James met Amy through his mutual friend and when she called him to go to a party at her house, it ignited the beginning of their story.
The actor mentions she was the perfect one in his mind, and marriage was in a majestic-looking ceremony at Hans Fahden Vineyard in Napa Valley, California.
James wore an Armani suit, and Amy wore a Reva Mivasagar sheath gown on her wedding day, complemented by her grandmother’s jewelry.
The couple has been blessed with two children. Amy gave birt to her first son at 28 on January 22, 2005, and he was named Jackson Carpinello. The second was given birth at the age of 29 on September 1, 2006, and was named Ava Grace Carpinello.
Currently, both children are between the ages of 17 and 16. Jackson following in his parent’s footsteps has started acting. The son appeared in a short movie with his parents called Creeper. He is presently studying at The Burkley School and is graduating in 2023.
While his sister Ava has got her mother’s genes. Ava is a talented dancer and senior at LACHSA (Los Angeles County High School for the Arts). The talented dancer will graduate in 2025.
