The recent controversy concerning Jameela Jamil and Elon Musk revolves around one joining Twitter as its owner and the other leaving the platform.

As Elon Musk buys twitter at the price of $44 billion, actress Jameela Jamil has taken over the platform to call it quits. According to her after it turns into an individual-owned private company, it is likely to go lawless. 

Jamil said, one nice thing about Elon owning Twitter is that she would finally leave and stop being a terrible danger to society, for her one million followers on 25th April.

Calling it a win-win situation, in what she described as her final tweet, she then included a collection of photos of her dog, Barold.

After deciding to leave Twitter in protest of Elon Musk’s acquisition, Jameela Jamil has spoken out about the reactions she has gotten from “mad white guys.” Musk, the billionaire founder of Tesla, paid over $44 billion (£34.5 billion) for the platform on Monday (25 April).

Jamil, a former star of A Good Place, declared shortly after the news came that she would no longer be using the social networking platform. She outlined her reasons for leaving, claiming that under Musk’s leadership, the platform would achieve its ultimate form of absolutely lawless hate.

The star claims she has gotten threatening direct messages from individuals criticizing her decision since the reveal.

Jamil’s announcement came at a good time because she was embroiled in a feud with journalist Tracie Morrissey, who compiled interviews and Tweets in which she details her experiences with car accidents, being bedridden, and childhood deafness, food intolerances, mercury poisoning, broken bones, and more.

Morrissey questioned Jamil’s health claims, notably her assertions that she has had cancer twice (which has been confused with her cancer scare ).
