Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has declared his retirement from the game.
Jack Wilshere played 197 times for the team between 2008 and 2016, scoring 14 times, but has now ended a career that saw him become a club and country star as well as represent the club with distinction.
Wilshere also earned 34 England caps, scoring one goal, before moving on to Bournemouth and West Ham United. He joined Danish team AGF earlier this year, where he made 14 appearances, and he has also lately spent time teaching youth players.
What Is Jack Wilshere Net Worth At Retirement?
At the age of 30, the English midfielder has amassed a net worth of €56 million (£48 million) after spending his entire career in the English Premier League.
His market value has fallen to €15.8 million (£13.5 million) as a result of several injuries sustained over his career, which have likely prevented him from reaching his full potential. Moreover, after his retirement, it will further fall down.
Wilshere’s time at the club began when he was nine years old, and after outshining as part of the 2008/09 FA Youth Cup-winning side, he became the youngest-ever league player when making his first start against Blackburn Rovers in 2008, aged 16 years 256 days, and a few months later, Jack became the youngest player to represent the club in European football.
He won back-to-back FA Cups with the club in 2013 and 2014, and he received individual recognition as the PFA Young Player of the Year in 2010/11, a season in which he was also chosen to their Team of the Year and claimed our Player of the Year title.
