Ivana Trump died of a suspected cardiac arrest. At around 12:30 pm Thursday, July 14, Manhattan paramedics responded to a call of cardiac arrest. Upon arrival, they found the 73-year-old in the Upper East Side apartment.
According to NYPD, the former wife of Donald Trump was found unconscious and unresponsive at the bottom of the stairs in her apartment and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Medical examiners will determine the cause of her death, police said, they are also investigating whether the fall contributed to her death or whether she fell into it.
Trump wrote on his social profile that he was very saddened by Ivana’s passing. She led a great and inspirational life and was a beautiful, amazing, and wonderful woman.
