Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to
apply for a Italian Visa.
- Original Kenyan passport which is valid for 6 months from the intended date of exit from the country. The passport should have two blank pages for a stamp and to affix the visa.

Requirements
- This visa is meant for business-minded travelers with the intention of visiting Italy for business purposes.
- Business travelers may meet up with partners in the country for business meetings and to sign and negotiate business contracts.
- You can attend trade fairs, conferences, and business summits whilst you are in the country.
- Your business partner in Italy should provide a letter of invitation. The letter should contain the company’s address and state the purpose of your visit to the country.
- If your business partner in Italy is going to be responsible for your expenses, it should be stated in the letter of invitation from the company.
- A letter from your employer in Kenya stating they are aware of your business leave is required. The duration and purpose of your visit to the country should be clearly stated.
- Proof of previous business dealings with the company you are meeting with should be provided if any. This may be in form of signed contracts or payslips.
- Certificate of business registration of your business partner in Italy is required.

Requirements

Your local doctor should provide your diagnosis stating the reason treatment is best administered in Italy and the duration of the treatment.

A letter from the doctor in Italy stating that he has accepted to take up the treatment should be provided. The nature of the treatment and the intended time of recovery should be clearly stated.

- You are required to apply for a work permit.
- Proof that you are not receiving below the minimum wage is required.

- The transit visa allows Kenyans to stay in Italy for a short period of time.
- This visa also enables foreigners to transit through Italy to their destination country.
- You are required to possess the visa and flight ticket of your destination country.
- If you are under the age of 18 years, the unabridged original copy of your birth certificate should be provided.
- Foreigners who have been previously convicted may not be issued this visa.

- You are not allowed to study or take up paid or unpaid employment during your time in the country.
- The visa is valid for 5 days.

- This visa type is for Kenyan students who have been accepted to study in a school in Italy.
- Letter of admission from the institution you have been offered admission is required. This is proof that you can attend lectures and write exams at school.
- Certificates and transcripts of the schools you previously attended is a necessary document to be provided during the visa application process.
- Applicants that are not Kenyan citizens are required to show a copy of their Kenyan stay permit during the visa application process.
- Holders of this visa are allowed to work part-time when school is on session and full-time when they are on break.
- An extension to the visa may be granted to cover the duration of the period of study in the country.
