The rising star came to public notice after she landed her first film role in the worldwide sensation Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom as Maisie Lockwood. The film premiered in Madrid on May 21, 2018.

Sermon was fortunate to work with the phenomenal Christ Pratt, Sam Neil, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum.

The actress reprised her role in Jurassic World Dominion, with filming taking place during the pandemic.

The film premiered on May 23, 2022, in Mexico City and marked the third and final installment in the Jurassic World trilogy.

Sermon is a big fan of dinosaurs. She recalls watching Jurassic Park and being completely blown away at age 5.

She also shared she used to have a giant plastic bucket filled with dinosaur toys which she loved playing with other kids.

Isabella Sermon Has British Parents

Isabella Sermon father Joshua and mother Gwen Sermon gave birth to her on July 8, 2006. She grew up in London with her dog.

As a child, she was an outdoorsy kid and loved camping and spending time outside. In one of her Facebook posts, she shared that she travels a lot with her family, making her very curious as a young adult.

Mother Gwen Sermon

Isabella is among the four children born to Gwen and her loving husband Joshua in London. The actress rarely shares beautiful pictures of her mom and dad on her social media accounts.

It was her mom who actually received the confirmation email that her daughter got the part of Maisie on Jurassic World on Christmas Eve. The delighted mother couldn’t hold her joy but decided to wait until Christmas.

She wanted to give the exciting news as a Christmas present. So, she printed the email and put it in an envelope for her daughter to open on Christmas Day.

“What a great Christmas present!” Sermon says to the Revamp Magazine.

Four years later, when the child star got to reprise her role in the trilogy’s third installment, she stayed with her mother in a hotel.

The shooting took place during the pandemic and it was a bit difficult for her not to be able to see her friends and other family members.

Her mom is supportive of her career decision and is also her manager.

Father Joshua Sermon

Joshua is an entrepreneur and the greatest supporter of his loving kids. The up-and-coming star enjoys traveling and learning new things with her dear dad.

She is really close to her father and admits to getting upset when not able to see him for a long time.

Talking to Cool America Magazine, she shared how she missed her dad during the pandemic as she couldn’t see him for a long time.

Sermon had to stay in a hotel, away from her loving dad for a long time. “I would say that was quite difficult,” she said in the interview.

The film was released in the aftermath of Covid and grossed $1 billion worldwide, making it the fourth movie in the franchise to gross $1 billion and the 2022 third-highest-grossing film.

Sermon Grew Up In The Household Of Four Children

Isabella Sermon has four siblings Winston Sermon, Sharon Sermon, and Brett Sermon.

Sisters Sharon And Winston

Isabella Sermon sisters, Sharon and Winston grew up with her and their dog in London.

Unlike the rising star, her sisters have chosen a different career path and are devotedly working to pursue it.

Though Isabella hardly speaks about her sisters, she has given some insights into her upbringing in London.

Brother Brett

Brett is reportedly the younger brother of the British actress. Born as the only son of Gwen and Joshua, he was brought up alongside his three sisters in London, England.

As a school student, Brett is probably focused on his studies. Talking about education, his sister values her education and doesn’t mind juggling both.

In the Summer of 2022, the actress was preparing for her GCSE exams in the middle of an intense period of film production. And even though Sermon was up to so many things at once, she had the most laid-back energy.

Her Upbringing In London

Belonging to a supportive family, the 16-year-old London native discovered she enjoyed acting when she was cast as James in James and The Giant Peach at her primary school.

She was around 9 years old when she got to play the part of James. Talking to Revamp magazine, she marked it as one of the moments which made her realize she loved acting.

And while she had acted in productions at her school previously, it wasn’t until she amassed the role of Maisie that she realized that acting was her passion and she wanted to do it for the rest of her life, she told Tresa Magazine.

She found the environment on the set of both her films safe and nurturing.

She discovered she could learn so much about the industry and the acting business just by watching people work.

Sermon is truly a creative art, and when not in front of the camera, she loves listening to music, drawing, reading, writing, and photography.

Additionally, she enjoys going to the cinema to watch films.
