Isabel Hodgins born Isabel Victoria Hodgins is an English actress, well known for portraying in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, the current character, Victoria Sugden.

She is also into dancing and performs in stage shows. She has been part of a dance school from the age of four, and actually, her plan had been to be in the West End.She took over the role at the age of 12, after producers decided to recast it. She begun filming her role on 21 August 2006, todate.

Her debut episode aired on 12 October 2006. In 2007, she was shortlisted for ‘Best Newcomer’ at TV Quick and the TV Choice awards. At the British Soap Awards 2007, she was also nominated for the ‘Spectacular Scene of the Year’ award for the scene where Victoria and Billy Hopwood were involved in a truck crash. In 2008, she was nominated at the Inside Soap Awards for ‘Best Young Actress’.

On 4 May 2009, she was shortlisted at the British Soap Awards in the ‘Best Dramatic Performance from a Young Actor or Actress’ category. She lost out to Maisie Smith but won the ‘Spectacular Scene of the Year’ award at the British Soap Awards for the scene when her Emmerdale character Victoria fell through ice onto a lake and discovered a dead body.

Emmerdale heartthrob Danny Miller reportedly enjoyed a fling with his co-star Isabel Hodgins despite her dating fellow colleague Michael Parr.

The 25-year-old hunk, who plays Aaron Livesy in the ITV soap, was still in an on-off relationship with his Hollyoaks actress Kirsty-Leigh Porter while he had the alleged affair.

News of the romance was reported by The Sun On Sunday with the publication claiming the Emmerdale set has become divided after the affair came to light.

Sources claim that Kirsty, who plays Lee Lomax in the Channel 4 soap, discovered message exchanges between Danny and Isabel – leading to the discovery of the reported tryst.

They say: ‘Isabel and Danny thought they could keep their romance secret but when Kirsty-Leigh saw the texts on his phone, the game was up. She was furious.

‘Michael was also angry. He thought he and Danny were close friends. The tension between them caused major problems on set, because Michael made it crystal clear he didn’t want to be around Danny.

‘The revelations caused arguments among the cast who split into two camps’

A representative for Isabel declined to issue a statement, while MailOnline has contacted representatives for Danny, Michael and Kirsty for comment.

Michael, who plays Ross Barton in the show, has been dating Isabel, who plays the role of Victoria Sugden, began dating in 2013.

News of the affair comes shortly after it was claimed Danny left Kirsty ‘devastated’ when he reportedly had a drunken tryst with a prostitute.
