Zoe Bill is believed to be ill as she left BBC Radio 2 just after an hour she arrived to work.
The format on BBC Radio 2 was shaken up on 4th April after Zoe arrived 25 minutes late. Her stand-in presenter Richie Anderson first attributed Ball’s late start to a ‘flat tyre.’
However, Anderson later admitted in the show that she had gone home as she was ‘not feeling well.

Richie, a travel reporter, told listeners at 6.30 am that Zoe had not appeared on the station yet as she had a flat tire.
Fans are seen praising Richie for handling the situation smoothly. One fan tweeted that Richie did a fantastic job filling in at short notice for Zoe.

Why Is Zoe Ball Not On Radio 2 This Morning Show?
Zoe Ball was 25 minutes late to Radio 2 this morning. To fill her unknown absence, Richie Anderson took the seat and entertained the listeners until Zoe finally arrived.
At 6.55 am, Ball elaborated that he was thankful to Richie for managing in her absence.
However, Anderson again appeared and took back on the microphone at 7.47 am. He started speaking without giving any explanation for Zoe’s absence.
Later at 8.05 am, he explained that Zoe had to leave because she was not feeling well. She went home, he said.
Zoe Ball Sick – Know The Truth
According to the reports, last month, Zoe Ball was forced to call in sick with coronavirus.
Furthermore, Ball was tested positive on 18th March 2022. She had to withdraw from presenting the annual BBC Comic Relief TV show. In one of the posts on her social media, Zoe mentioned that she was feeling ‘fed-up’ with the illness.
As Zoe was reading out the Radio 2 WhatsApp number this morning, some people claimed that she sounded ‘shaky.’
After Zoe disappeared again at 7.47 am, Andrew took over the show until Ken Bruce began Andrew’s show an hour earlier than usual, at 8.30 am.
Some people speculate that Zoe is suffering from long covid. Her absence came just weeks after being forced to self-isolate after testing positive for Covid-19.
