Zaniar Matapour’s Instagram and Facebook profiles have not been found. It is unsure if the mass shooter from Oslo is available on social media platforms.
After the shooter was identified as Zaniar Matapour, citizens wanted to know about his personal life by going through his social media.
However, other news sites have made Facebook post with his arrested photo.
Norway Shooting Suspect Identified
Zaniar Matapour, 42, an immigrant to Norway with his family from a Kurdish part of Iran when he was 12 years old, reportedly opened fire at three separate spots in and near the London Pub shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday, just hours before the city’s Pride parade.
According to Norwegian police, Matapour also targeted persons outside the Herr Nilsen music club and a fast-food restaurant. Within five minutes after the attack, he was pulled to the ground and put into prison. They also stated that two firearms, including a fully automatic gun, were recovered from the shooting location.
According to the news, two males, one in his 50s and the other in his 60s, were slain. Ten individuals were hospitalized for significant injuries, although none were believed to be in critical condition. Eleven more persons suffered minor injuries.
Zaniar Matapour Address: Is Arrested?
Zaniar Matapour was born in Iranian Kurdistan and migrated to Bergen, Norway, when he was 12 years old. He was accused early Saturday this morning of two murders, an attempted murder, and terrorism following the homophobic terror attack at the renowned LGBT+ hangout London Pub in the city center.
Other than that, there is no other personal information available on the shooter. He was arrested by the police within five minutes of the attack. He was taken into police custody. Zaniar’s defense lawyer told that the attacker has not spoken to the police yet and has not mentioned the reason for the shooting yet.
