A Dallas judge has ruled in favor of a young lady who filed a civil complaint against Tyler Scott McPhillips she claims sexually attacked and raped her while visiting Austin in 2016.
He avoided a criminal trial by confessing to lower charges in a deal made by the Travis County District Attorney’s Office six weeks after the bench trial, that too without a jury.

In 2016, a week after befriending McPhillips in Dallas, Kribs testified that she accompanied him to the Austin City Limits Music Festival.
