Country singer Toby Keith performed multiple shows even after being diagnosed with stomach cancer and undergoing a treatment process.
Born in Clinton, Oklahoma, Toby was passionate about music since his childhood. He became renowned as a popular singer after he released his studio albums: Toby Keith (1993), Boomtown (1994), Blue Moon (1996), and Dream Walkin’ (1997).
The Should’ve Been a Cowboy singer has been awarded the National Medal of Arts by former U.S. President Donald Trump in 2021. Sixty-two of his songs have topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

On June 12, 2022, Toby Keith took to his Instagram handle to announce that he was diagnosed with stomach cancer.
“Last fall I was diagnosed with stomach cancer. I’ve spent the last 6 months receiving chemo, radiation, and surgery.”, Keith wrote in the Instagram post.
This statement shook his fans and other celebrities. Soon after that, his comment sections were flooded with prayers and good wishes.
The singer has been undergoing treatment and he is optimistic about his health. What surprised and impressed everyone was that he had been performing on stage despite being sick.
The 60-year-old singer had performed during a Memorial Day Weekend show in Florida. He had also attended the 2022 Toby Keith and Friends Golf Classic.
Toby was scheduled to perform on July 28 at the Ohio State Fair but after his official statement, the organizers have announced the cancellation of his show. They have announced to give refunds to people who had purchased tickets for Keith’s show.
The Grammy-nominated singer was all set to perform on stage at other events and concerts throughout the year. He has an upcoming show on November 12 at the Coachella Crossroads in Coachella, Calif.
But concerning his health conditions, it looks like the shows will be either canceled or postponed till he gets recovered fully.

The foundation opened OK Kids Korral in 2014 which provides housing free of cost to cancer patients and their families.
