The Metropolitan Police revealed the news that they arrested a 29-year-old footballer on accusations of rape. The arrest was made in the London Borough of Barton for a crime he allegedly committed in June 2022. 

Being a 29-year-old midfielder, the Arsenal midfielder automatically becomes a person of interest in these accusations. He and Grant Xhaka are the only footballers in the Arsenal squad who are 29 years old.

Thomas Partey does have a house in North London but it may not be in the London Borough of Barnet. 

The Ghanaian footballer once reported that his house was robbed but he didn’t talk about the location. As a gunner, one would presume that he has a house in North London and he does. 

Moreover, the police said that they arrested the player from his house in Barnet. And the other person of interest, Grant Xhaka does have a house in Barnet. So, we will have to wait until the investigation concludes.
