The Voice USA contestant Kata Hay has reportedly been detained on accusations of having sex with a minor.
Hay was born in 1987 in Skiatook, Oklahoma. At the age of two, she started singing after being encouraged to attend a beauty contest by a friend who she had seen perform while competing.
She made her acting debut in the independent 1988 film Oklahoma Faded Love at the age of 10, playing a younger version of the lead character while singing the Patsy Cline rendition of “Crazy.”
Later, the singer went through an audition process with three of the judges for The Voice US in 2016: Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, and Pharrell Williams.
She picked Christina Aguilera as her mentor and had a quick kiss with the singer during her audition. In her Instagram bio, she identified herself as “That girl who kissed @Xtina on #TheVoice.” Hay made it through the battle rounds but was eliminated during the first week of the live show.

Is Kata Hay Huddleston Still In Jail?
Yes, Kat is still imprisoned at the Davidson County Jail.
According to TMZ reports, the musician was arrested on Tuesday in Sumner County, Tennessee. She is best known for his 2016 appearance on the show. She apparently underwent processing for violating her probation in connection with another DUI case.
Kata’s actions put her in this situation. She might be handling the situation at the moment while also trying to get out of jail as soon as possible.
However, there is currently no information available on the singer’s expected release date.
Why The Voice Contestant Kata Hay Huddleston Arrested?
According to authorities, Kata, whose real name is Kata Huddleston, had intercourse with a friend’s teenage son in Sumner County, where she was arrested on June 14.
The singer and songwriter got into trouble while staying with a friend in White House, Tennessee where she made sexual comments to an underage boy.
The 16-year-mother old’s reportedly confronted Kata and recorded their conversation before requesting that she leave the house. The mother’s recording reportedly contains Hay acknowledging the incident had happened, per the documents.
Kata was arrested by an authority figure for sexual contact with a minor and released on bond the same day. However, that was not the end of the country music artist’s problems, as she was then arrested.

The minimum age for consent in Tennessee is 18, yet Kate tries to have sex with a 16-year-old guy.
A Sumner County affidavit claims that the 35-year-old performer made lewd remarks about her friend’s 16-year-old son in front of his parents while she was temporarily residing with them and lewd gestures to the boy that same night.
Moreover, she also tried to convince the youngster to touch her in an improper manner after they kissed.
The teen stated that the comments caused them to make physical contact. Hay kissed him and continuously compelled him to touch her inappropriately despite his denials.
