Youth and age
Simon Cowell was born Simon Phillip Cowell on October 7, 1959, in Lambeth, London, England, to Julie Brett and Eric Selig Phillip Cowell, a member of a Jewish family. Her mother, Julie, was a dancer and ballet dancer and her father was a property developer, real estate agent and music manager. Cowell has a younger brother called Nicolas Andrew Cowell, a renowned British estate agent, director and co-founder of Estate Office Property Consultants; a half-sister named June Cowell; and three half-brothers – John Cowell, Tony Cowell and Michael Cowell.
The X Factor star attended Radlett Preparatory School and later Dover Independent College. He would go to Windsor Technical College after excelling in English language and literature in order to continue his education.
