Jimmy Butler Injury And Health Update 2022
Per the source, Jimmy Butler missed the second half of Game 3 due to right knee inflammation.
Considering how much attention the Ja Morant knee injury got, that followed a less intentional Jordan Poole grab, I’d argue this action by Payton Pritchard is far worse.
He, alongside Kyle Lowry, max Strus, Gabe Vincent, and P. J. Tucker, was also injured. The player still seems to have an injury but recently decided to attempt a battle. Going back to his history, he seems to have many injuries. Butler had missed 15 games due to injury, limiting him to 67 games back in the 2013-2014 season.
Likewise, on February 23, in his match against the Houston Rockets, Butler left the game late in the third quarter with a right knee injury. Two days later, he underwent meniscus surgery and couldn’t play for some time. He then returned to action on April 6, scoring 18 points in a 113–96 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.
