Is Melanie Martinez still making music?
On October 17, 2022, Melanie posted a video to her Instagram Story saying that she has been working on some “really fun stuff” that will be coming soon.
During a meet and greet, Melanie confirmed that the album would have 13 songs and some form of a deluxe.
They also stated that the lead single would be released sometime in Spring (March-May) along with a music video, and there would be no featured artists on the album.
Additionally, they said that they would like to create music videos for their favourite songs on the album, and release the film separately from the album.
Melanie Martinez posted a photoshoot she did with Verde. Following this, Coach Wave proceeded to post a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot to his Instagram, captioning the post “Mother of Pearl”.
After a fan had asked if the song was the album’s lead single, Melanie replied with no, that was just a random song idea that never got finished that got leaked – the actual songs I will be putting out this year y’all haven’t even heard yet.
