Is Meena Leaving Emmerdale?

No, Meena is not leaving Emmerdale. 

Paige Sandhu plays Meena Jutla, a fictional character from the ITV soap opera Emmerdale. Details about her casting and Meena’s characterization were revealed in September 2020, along with two other new characters, as part of Emmerdale’s “big autumn shake-up.”

She was introduced as Manpreet Sharma’s (Rebecca Sarker) estranged sister, and she arrives in the fictional village with the intention of reconciling her relationship with Manpreet.

Sandhu described her character as irresponsible, apathetic, untrustworthy, wild, and intelligent upon her casting. Meena won the Best Villain award at the 2021 Inside Soap Awards for her portrayal of the character.

She was nominated for Best Newcomer, and Meena’s murder of Leanna was nominated for Best Show-Stopper at the ceremony. Since her introduction, Meena has divided viewers’ opinions.

How Many Murder Has Meena Done? Death & Murder Details 

In Emmerdale, Meena has murdered five people. She murdered her best friend Nadine Butler before moving to the Dales and managed to cover it up as a suicide.

This proved to be Leanna Cavanagh’s undoing, as she discovered the news article about Nadine’s suspicious death in Meena’s belongings.

Meena claimed Nadine committed suicide, but after Leanna dug deeper, Meena admitted she murdered Nadine.

She then killed Leanna and pretended it was an accident in order to keep her secret.

Her third murder occurred during Emmerdale’s’survival week,’ when she attempted to drown Victoria but failed.

Andrea Tate, unfortunately, caught Meena in the act and became her next victim. Andrea was killed by Meena, who hit her over the head with a wooden step before abandoning her in a burning maze.

Things got complicated when she attempted to kill Priya after realizing she had seen her kill Andrea. She was stopped in her tracks, however, when a nurse arrived and discovered that Priya had not seen anything.

Ben Tucker became her fourth victim after seeing footage of Meena attempting to drown Victoria.

Dawn Taylor discovered his body after she hit him over the head with a kayak oar.

What Happened to Meena in Emmerdale?

Meena Jutla appears to be getting nastier in upcoming Emmerdale scenes.

Off-screen, the serial killer has already claimed the life of a friend and has now murdered villagers Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate, and Ben Tucker.

But we haven’t seen the worst of the devilish nurse yet.
