Is Laura Wright aka Carly Leaving General Hospital? Killed By Harmony!!

Laura Wright’s fans wonder if she will leave the program, but the good news is that she will not be departing anytime soon. Find out more about her.

Laura Wright is a well-known American actress. She is very active on social media, usually responding to inquiries from Twitter followers. That’s good because when a fan asked if she was leaving GH, she swiftly responded, “Nope,” before the rumor could spread.

A longtime General Hospital actress, she is putting an end to Internet rumors about her leaving the ABC soap opera before they get out of hand.

Why Is Laura Wright, aka Carly Leaving General Hospital 2022?

Laura Wright, better known as Carly, does not appear to be leaving General Hospital anytime soon. Laura Wright has played her on GH since 2005, and she most likely enjoys her time in GH.

In response to a fan’s question about whether she was leaving GH, the actress explained her situation with the ABC serial drama on Twitter. Nope. People enjoy spreading rumors, according to Wright.

The actress’ denial follows another story about her professional connection with Roger Howarth, with whom she’s worked for decades on both GH and Loving, where they played Kent Winslow and Ally Rescott in the early 1990s.

During a heated Twitter debate among GH fans, some claimed that Wright and Howarth didn’t get along. The actress stepped in to clear the air with a statement, saying, This is a blatant LIE. Roger was a dream to work with!!! My favorite characters were Carly and Todd!! Stop distributing false information; however, she stated this isn’t the exact sentence, but it’s close.

Fortunately, Wright’s accounts have a lot of fun and positive social media activity, which helps to balance out the negativity that some people spread. Many fans are sharing nostalgic throwback clips from the actress’ early days in Port Charles, while Guiding Light icon Kim Zimmer recently shared that she recently enjoyed a great game of pickleball with Wright and Laura’s current on-screen nemesis, Cynthia Watros, proving that even though Wright and Watros’ GH alter egos don’t get along in real life, they’re good friends in real life.
