Is laire real

LAIRE, or Live Action Interactive Roleplaying Explorers, is a live action role playing (LARP) game. We are also a Boy Scout Explorer post (#2510), and a non-profit volunteer organization. Established by a group of like-minded people who enjoy theatrics and fair play, LAIRE has been running events for over 20 years.

You’ve probably heard of Dungeons and Dragons, but a similar activity called LARPing is another popular fantasy game played all around the world. It stands for Live Action Role Playing, and it involves people creating characters and acting out various fictional scenarios in real life.

Knights tells the epic quest of two LARPing friends—Eric, a guy “about to level-up to grand sorcerer” (Steve Zahn) and Hung (Dinklage)—who seek to cheer up their recently-dumped friend Joe (True Blood’s Ryan Kwanten) by whisking him off to a LARP in a campsite dressed up as the fields of Evermore.

The definition of a lair is a secret, secluded or private place, especially one used by an animal. A wolf’s den is an example of a lair. A place inhabited by a wild animal, often a cave or a hole in the ground. (figuratively) A place inhabited by a criminal or criminals, a superhero or a supervillain.

a secluded or hidden place, especially a secret retreat or base of operations; a hideout or hideaway: a pirate’s lair.

We went behind the scenes of LARPs to check out Les Aritsans d’Azure in Montreal, Canada, a store and workshop chock full of LARP gear, leather armor, and games, where the crew of the series acquires its costumes and weapons.
