We all remember him as the musical legend who popularized smooth jazz and easy listening worldwide.
Kenny G, the Grammy-winning saxophonist, has been keeping busy with concerts, interviews, and, of course, his saxophone brand.
However, while his work shows no signs of slowing down, admirers can’t help but wonder if he’s dating anybody significant right now.
Is it possible that he’s dating or perhaps married, someone privately?
Is Kenny G Married?
On June 15, 1980, Kenny G married Janice DeLeon. However, nothing is known since they married before Kenny’s meteoric prominence.
They did, however, divorce after seven years of marriage.
When he was 28, the saxophonist met actress Lyndie Benson, 21. Lyndie had first refused to give him her phone number because he was still married to Janice.
Kenny and Janice didn’t start dating until after he divorced her. By 1992, Kenny and Lyndie had been married.
Lyndie called their marriage “wonderful years of music and romance” because they had two kids together (Max and Noah Gorelick).
The partnership, however, had broken down after a phenomenal 20 years together.
Lyndie filed for legal separation in January 2012, citing “irreconcilable issues.” However, Kenny went ahead and filed for divorce a few months later, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
He’s not married, though, because there’s no ring on that specific finger. But if his interviews and social media accounts have taught us anything, it’s that he’s pretty private about his personal life, let alone his love life.
Is Kenny G Jewish?
Yes, Kenny G is Jewish. Kenny is proud of his Jewish ancestors and can read Hebrew.
“I think my attention to detail and the fact that I wanted not just to play an instrument but also get excellent at it was owing to my Jewish mother’s desire to ensure that her children studied hard, got good grades, and played music,” he added.
Kenny was born in the city of Seattle, Washington. His mother was from the Canadian province of Saskatchewan.
When Kenny heard a performance on The Ed Sullivan Show, he became interested in the saxophone.

He’s been married twice, the most recent of which ended roughly eight years ago.
He does, however, have two sons, Mark and Brian, both of whom are prestigious university grads.
There is no suspicion about being homosexual or bisexual, despite the lack of information about any current relationship.
