After tweeting a defense of a congressman who had expressed white nationalist views, Jafari doubled down in a Twitch stream, repeating distasteful and debunked far-right talking points like the idea of a Mexican “Reconquista” and the claim that even wealthy blacks commit more crimes than poor whites in the United States.
Jafari’s personal YouTube channel lost thousands of subscribers once his views became public.
Playtonic Games has decided to delete a voice role provided by renowned YouTuber JonTron after he made a series of racist and anti-immigrant comments.
Fans were surprised to find that JonTron was leaving the channel he co-founded in 2013. Dan Avidan, a vocalist, swiftly joined the channel and grabbed his spot.
Jon stated that he is relocating to New York City but did not elaborate.
While some speculated that he quit focusing on his own channel, JonTron, which he is now actively promoting, others said that he left due to a disagreement with Arin.
