Everyone’s attention has been drawn to Jeremy Renner’s sleeve tattoo in Hawkeye. Is it real? The meaning is explained below.
Jeremy Renner has returned once again as Hawkeye in the new Disney Plus series. However, his job this time is not the same as the one he portrayed in Avengers: Endgame. Renner’s character is significantly darker and punkier than he has been in the past.
Did Renner get a real tattoo for the series? Here’s what we know.
Jeremy Renner Sleeve Tattoo In Hawkeye: Is It Real?
Jeremy Renner’s sleeve tattoo also called the Ronin tattoo is not real. The ink is temporarily used only for the Hawkeye series.
However, the full sleeve tattoo seems so realistic and beautiful. It perfectly matches Clint Barton’s character.
The Hawkeye’s look in Avenger: Endgame is slightly edgier than previous films. The news series shows the avenger in a bit darker character.
After Thanos had snapped the Universe’s half population. Barton loses his family and he adapts to a different lifestyle.
The ink shows a skeleton warrior head and the vague outline resembles a dragon’s tail on Hawkeye’s forearm. It seems like the avenger had to fit with his Eastern-Asian lifestyle. Furthermore, it also matches Barton’s character as a midlife crisis dad.
The most catchy part of the tattoo is its wide range of colors. While in the Endgame primarily black and green ink was used.
The overall tattoo in the new series looks detailed and extra-shaded. Especially, in the shotgun and skeleton part.
