Giovanni Quintella, a Brazilian anesthetist, was arrested on July 10, 2022, on rape suspicion after allegedly assaulting a patient during a C-section procedure.
Giovanni appeared in court on July 12, 2022, and was given the punishment of solitary confinement. He will remain in custody at Bangu, the largest prison in Brazil, until the incident is investigated.

They were horrified as he sexually assaulted the woman while other medical professionals conducted her C-section less than a foot away behind a surgical curtain.
According to reports, he assaulted her for about ten minutes. However, staff members who witnessed the rape claimed the doctor had already performed two comparable surgeries that day.
Investigators are now looking into whether those two ladies were also the targets of an attack.

Giovanni Quintella Arrested Over Assault Charges
Giovanni Quintella was arrested on suspicion of rape after reportedly being secretly recorded orally raping a woman at the Hospital da Mulher in So Joo de Meriti, Rio de Janeiro.
Quintella is accused of abusing a woman receiving treatment and having a cesarean section. He carried out two more operations, but his worried medical staff could not set up a covert camera to see what he was doing.
The team unexpectedly modified the operating room and added a hidden camera for his third procedure of the day.
The majority of C-sections do not appear to be particularly painful, but the women who underwent surgery earlier in the day claimed to be completely asleep throughout.
Since the charges were made public, two more individuals who claimed to be Bezerra’s patients showed up at the Brazilian police station.
According to the witness, as reported by G1 Rio de Janeiro, Giovanni started making mild, back-and-forth movements while still focusing on the patient’s neck and head.
The witness stated that he appeared to be holding the patient’s head toward his pelvic area based on movement and the way his arm was curved.
Giovanni finished his anesthesia medical training only two months ago.

He has years of experience working in hospitals as an anesthesiologist. In addition, he may have earned his degree at Volta Redonda’s UniFOA.
Despite his schooling and professional achievement, he is now regarded as a criminal after heavily sedating the pregnant woman and then sexually abusing her during a C-section. His Instagram bio states that he is a medical anesthesiologist.
